Oil pump for 1.0l Ecoboost MHEV Fiesta

Featured Replies

Does anyone have the poart number for the oil pump on the 1.0l ecoboost 2020 BJ7B engine variant. I am looking at buying a cheap one off ebay to strip down and rebuild for paractice. Are they the same oil pump across the all ecoboost engines or are they different on the fiesta to the Focus? I found this Oil Pump 1.0 EcoBoost Petrol 92kW (125 HP) CM5G-6600-DC 2020 for circa 30 quid  says its for a focus on ebay looks the same as the one on the fiesta?

Cheers

It seems to be a total lottery when it comes to the Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost engine. 2020 often have the revised engine which uses a timing chain and not a wet timing belt. I don't know if they all use the exact same oil pump, but probably there are slight differences over the production years.

The Fiesta and Focus 1.0 Ecoboost engines that do use a wet timing belt (note: some do not) are the same.

It's MHEV BJ7B hasn the timinig chain and wet belt oil pump. I'll give Ford a call see if they will give me the part number. Im thinking the fixing el;ements may eb slightly different but the basic construct inside etc will be the same

Put your VIN into this link, it should only show you parts and part numbers for your vehicle

A 2020 model is too new. The site hasn't been updated since 2018 or even before.

Thanks for the update Unofix. I was only just thinking about that and your post confirms

Apologies to smithgz for causing any confusion
