Featured Replies

hi all , I have a 2007 auto 1.4 Zetec fiesta with factory Ford audio unit. I have been given the Sony Ford unit that’s fits the dash, can anyone tell me if I need any different leads/ connections or is it a straight swap please ? Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

first pic is original unit , 2nd is the one I want to put in but not got it yet ….

Straight swap, bluetooth won't work though until you wire in a bluetooth module, unless you already have it

Thanks Dave much appreciated, no idea where I would wire in a Bluetooth module but thought of having it integrated us attractive . I presume it’s a fitting in the rear of the unit ?

thank you

Does the car not have bluetooth?

No it’s a 2007 fiesta with factory cd audio, not Bluetooth. Do you know how I get this sony unit to be Bluetooth friendly ? Or is the car ? !!! Sorry appreciate your help , o know nothing , all I want is this sony unit to pair up to my phone thru car speakers

many thanks

You'll need to wire in the Ford Bluetooth module, it's on the beam, by the airbag, take the glovebox off and have a look, you may be very lucky and have the wiring

And wire in the microphone
