Wiper Issue on 2014 1.0 Ecoboost

Featured Replies

Hi guys new here but just wondered if anybody might have the answer to my wiper/washer issue. I've just replaced the wet belts and thought I'd fix another problem while I was at it. The car in 2017 had a front left prang which required the washer bottle assembly to be replaced (not by me), ever since when you pull the stalk to wash the windscreen, washer fluid sprays from the bonnet jets but the rear wiper blade moves rather than the front blades and vice versa. Obviously there is a relay or connection that has been put in the wrong place, any idea what and where that is?

Thanks for any advice

The plug on the screen wash pump is round the wrong way, OR the front and rear pipes on the pump have been crossed over. Either way you are going to have to get at the pump.

Thanks. I checked the pipes, pinched one to check if they were the right way round. I'll try and get to the pump, thanks for the advice
