2009 fiesta radio display

Featured Replies

I've spent best part of the day trying to get the radio display to work on my daughters 2009 fiesta after fitting a Sony radio from a 2011 car. I bought the radio and display from the same car. I've fitted the correct plug to the radio and I know that part is ok. I've been on Forscan and told it I've upgrade the radio to a DAB one but it won't work unless I fit the original display back in. Then the radio will work but without any for the new radio functions.

Just to add to this I've also fitted a bluetooth module and loom to this car using all the correct parts from a 2011 fiesta .. and this isn't working either.. Again, with Forscan, I've told the car it has bluetooth etc..

Any ideas as this is annoying now

Sorted it, had to swap 2 of the wires around in the display plug and then everything worked on the radio.

The module I bought on eBay turned out to not work either. Had to use the one of my other daughters car to find that out
