MK6 Alloys

Featured Replies

Evening all,

I have a MK6 fiesta and am struggling to find some alloys. After hitting a pothole I am in need of 1 alloy….

It’s R17 and 4 X 108 but I’m finding loads of different off sets, I don’t know if that makes a difference?

the repair quote is over £120 so figured I’d risk a second hand alloy. Will any 4 X 108 R17 be ok?

all tyres are 205/40

thanks in advance

Not if you're only buying one.  The offset will need to at least match the other side.

Post a photo of the wheel type you want, there is a good chance someone will be able to find it

So a pair would be sufficient regardless of the front 2?

Technically yes, though keeping all 4 the same is best practice.  The problem with different offset front to rear is that the wider track could pull the rear into lorry ruts/tramlines more and create an unstable feel on the motorway.  If it's only a few mm different it should be be fine though.

Oh I see, totally understandable.

I just can’t bring myself to pay the price to repair the crack…. I will have to post an image of the wheel but in the meantime I’ll browse for a pair. Appreciate the help folks

Sound job, I didn’t know if they were a copy or not.

There is a company in Essex breaking a Fiesta ST. Says all parts available, it has the same wheels as yours.

They do look genuine.  Ford badge can be seen between the top & left wheel nuts.

Pretty sure that's an aftermarket paint job though.  Only the ST500 had black ones, but they were gloss black.

They should also have large centre caps covering the nuts.
