Airbox sensors

Featured Replies

Just ended up ripping the head off my sons 1.4tdci(2010).

Just because 2 x glowplugs snapped & 1 x tip dropped in.  Marvellous!

Putting it back together, I realises I have 2 x sensors on the air box and only 1 x cable.

Connecting it to the bottom one I get P0238 turbo boost sensor error.

Connected to the top - all clear.  Anyone know what the bottom sensor is for?

Are there any pins in there?  It might just be a blank if not.

The top sensor is the MAP for measuring boost pressure as you've found out.

I think you're right - it's a blank.  Very odd.

Least of my problems - did about 10 miles, left parked for the morning. Finished fitting plastic crap and wipers.  Started up and it's pressurising like a ***** timeshare salesman
