MPG Ford Fiesta 1.25 2009

Featured Replies

Hi, was just wondering what MPG you actually get from a Ford Fiesta 1.25 2009 the highest I’ve got was 54.7 which I thought was quite impressive and the speed limits were mainly 30 to 40 but I was really hypermiling, just wondering if anyone had got a better mpg than that

I have a 2009 mk7 1.6d

If I drive like my mum on a motorway I can get 78...but I deliver for NHS.. stop start all day..then I get 35

Had one of these engines on a mk 6.5 fiesta and consistently archived between 320-350 miles to a tank. Not as economical as a 1L ecoboost I drive now. But not a bad little engine.

The Mk 7 we had averaged 43.5, best 47, worst 35, all measured "brim to brim".

Not the most economical car (I do better in the ST and my 140 Ecoboost was in the 45-53 range), but great fun to drive and loved revs, hence the mpg I guess!😀
