Got a problem on my mk7 ? (67 plate) Fiesta. USB fault appears faulty. It has been temperamental for a while and replacing the charging cable seemed to sort the problem. I bought a wireless airplay adapter, which worked a couple of times, but no longer does, and can also not use wired CarPlay. I’ve seen a “how to” on replacing the wire from the head unit (under the glove box), but do I need this, or just replace the usb port?

I’ve blown the port out with a can of air, so I know it’s clean.
