got a fiesta mk7.5 1L ecoboost

changed the cabin filter and found a cable with a plug with no where to plug it into  anyone have any idea what it is 

this is in drivers foot well behind the panel was sitting tucked under air vent black box in pic.

sat on top of gear box cables tucked under  have no idea what it is where it goes or where to plug it into either 

might need to go to ford and ask them but everything works on car except TPMS and stop start

TPMS not fitted atm and dunno about stop start as i have subwoofers fitted so prob best not to have it active

Cigar Lighter / power socket ?

yeah glovebox doesn't have a light that i can see anyway and will test power socket and see if that works but cable wouldn't reach it at al plus cant see where to plug cable into all this on right had side of car drivers side

checked power socket and works fine and glove box doesnt have a light or anywhere to fit one either

Those wires look pretty beefy (unless you have tiny hands ).  I reckon it's for the electric aux heater but not fitted on your car.

If both wires are white with orange stripe, then toms got the right answer with aux electric heater
