Headlight Issues

Featured Replies

I have a 2019 Fiesta ST Line and have issues where the dipped beam on the headlights has stopped working. We have checked the fuses and relays and all seems ok. Both headlights have stopped working using the manual setting and also the auto setting. The driving lights and main beam work ok.
Any ideas if there is anything else to check or if anyone has come across this themselves.

The dipped beam headlights are controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM), there are no fuses for them.

Take the headlight bulbs out one at a time and see if after a a few minutes the other headlight will come back on.

Check the BCM for signs of water ingress and check that the main connectors are fully seated. There are occasions of passengers managing to dislodge the connectors with their feet when sitting in the front seat.

If I may, also check for play in the indicator stalk column..

I replaced the stalk on my wife`s car and sorted the dim lights out. Has precisely your symptoms; fuses and relays all good but still no dipped eam..
