Hi,

i Recently had a stage 1 remap done on my 2019 fiesta 1l ecoboost. I have had the engine management light come on and got it diagnosed with the fault of a underboost condition (Turbo) which makes sense as when i was driving made my car go into a limp mode (loss of power). we left it for 4/5 hours on the same day and then cleared the fault code with diagnostics machine and car was fine. But took it out again yesterday and appeared to have same issue with loss of top end power but no fault codes or management light came on. Has anyone got any ideas what the fault may be?

Bad map? If it was fine before, it must be the map surely?

Who mapped it? Was it a trusted generic map, a custom tune, etc?

Is it a cheap, innit dough, remap? Done from a laptop?

Sounds it

Revert back to standard

Yes car was fine beforehand, i have kept in contact with the bloke who did the remap and was done by laptop from his mobile van. He said he would come back out to look at it. i paid £309. i drove it this morning and it was completely fine again.

It's the remap.

Get your money back and revert back to standard, then use the companies I suggested

Ok, will see what i can do. Hopefully will be straight as forward as getting my money back and would you ask him to revert it back to standard?

Out of those 3 which one would you recommend the most?
