hi

tried today to do a map update using very good strong wi-fi. This is i believe the only way i could manage it. The circle was spinning for approx 40 minutes.it then said software is up to date 31/05/2024. Gave me the updated version.sync 3 software version 3.4.   My car fiesta active x  2023

System updates.  34.84.e4.be.c3.96  Bluetooth 34.84.e4.be.c3.95  grace note version 1.1.1.2316(eu-0020)

map version f11   sync serial(esn).nibnoovd.  The map is the same version has before update f11

the software is the same version 3.4

why has the map not updated,should it have updated when the software updated. What is the latest map version

    The latest map version is F12

    If your car has only just updated from Sync3.0 to Sync3.4 it will not update the maps until the Ford server knows what version you have.

    Often it will update overnight.

    Thanks unofix,but the software was already on sync 3.4.

    So just to be clear, should the f12 map update through the wi-fi alone. Any suggestions will be grateful.

    It could take more than a week or even two to download the F12 maps OTA

    Far easier for you to download to a USB and do the install direct.
