Bluetooth and audio issues

Featured Replies

So I'm having issues with my ford fiesta 2010 1.4 diesel, I have tried connecting my phone to the bluetooth but the bluetooth is off, when I go to turn it on it will not turn on at all ive tried all the buttons etc and still nothing. Further the AUX button on the cars console doesnt work and the phone button mutes the radio. I have replaced the fuse for the Bluetooth and still nothing. Ive also checked the manual and have been searching for solutions online but nothing. Can anyone help?

Is the Bluetooth module definitely fitted?  It wasn't standard on Mk7 Fiestas.

Yes I have disconnected and reconnected the wires, I read somewhere that would fix the issue but no luck.

The module is probably knackered then.  Should be able to get a used one cheaply on ebay.

Would the module affect the phone and aux button?

The phone button defaults to muting the radio on cars without a module fitted.  So I guess it will act the same with a faulty module.

Not sure about aux, but if that's run through the Bluetooth module then that would make sense.
