2010 fiesta ignition switch replacement

Just changed the ignition switch in the wife’s fiesta in all a relatively easy job but the immobiliser stopping me from starting it,remote locking is working fine is there a way to reset it .

No.  The pickup ring around the barrel has probably been left unplugged or not refitted perfectly.  Proximity chips only have a very short working range.

Then it is either damaged, misaligned, or the wiring is broke. The ring is purely just a receiver it isn't a coded or intelligent bit of kit.
