    In fairness, this video does show the proper Ford headed letter confirming the changes.

    Though there's still a lot of unnecessary stuff in it.  I certainly didn't waste 20 odd minutes watching him waffle on. :rolleyes:

    I wonder what the reason for Ford fitting a new engine was? Obviously nothing to do with a wet timing belt and of course a 2020 model is excluded from the recent change to Ecoboost repairs scheme.

    Yes I am keen to know why it is replaced too as I also have a 2020 ford focus mk4 too (chain timing, oil pump belt still wet belt). Thanks.

    If it is the following vehicle then it was built in November 2018, so could perhaps technically just scrape in to the rules of the new expanded ecoboost scheme. Of course the failure would need to have been caused by the wet oil pump belt if that was the case.
