S1600 Serpentine belt part number

Featured Replies

Hi,

Could anyone confirm the Ford part number for the correct serpentine belt to fit the 2011 Fiesta S1600 please? I've found so many different part numbers online and think its one of these two - 1830909 or 1809955 (most likely the latter),

Can't see any marking on the existing belt to help confirm it, but when I check online some sites say both these numbers fit this model? I'm thinking (?) this might be the correct one https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gates-6PK1029SF-Poly-Rib-Belt/dp/B00FAQAVJO but could do with some confirmation if possible.

Cheers,

Andy

I think 909 is without AC.  And 955 with AC.

Put your VIN into catcar and it should only show compatible parts.

Cheers for the reply Tom,

I thought I'd read the same (regarding 909 without AC / 955 with AC), but looking at that site you mentioned it shows illustrations of both AC & non-AC, and lists the 909 belt as being for both, so I guess I'll go for that one.

Thanks!

I recently replaced the Aux belt on mine, but, I can't find the receipt.  I got it from my local Ford dealer so could have given you the part number for the AC version.

I'd be doubtful that a belt would cover AC and non AC as they "should" be different lengths.  I could be wrong though,  Just in case you're unaware, there's no tensioner as they're stretch belts.

The non-AC models use an idler in place of the AC pulley.  If it's the same diameter then the belts could be the same size though I'm also sceptical about that.

Please do let us know whether it turns out to be correct or not, as it'll help others in future.
