Apple CarPlay wireless dongle and Ford navigation

Hello all 

i have I have a Ford fiesta 2020 mhev and I recently got a dongle for the Apple CarPlay that turns it into wireless which I am very happy with ….the only problem is it turns the Ford navigation off to use Apple Maps is there anyway I can turn that off somehow so I can use the dongle but still be able to use the Ford navigation 

it’s extremely frustrating

    No. Even wired, CarPlay and android auto takes over the maps. 
     

    Why would you want to use it with the Ford maps?

    Agreed Ford navigation isn't very good.
