Getting back to the beginning, why are you looking for the Yaw Rate sensor ?

Re-reading this thread, I can't see that you have used FORScan to read the DTC's. I note that you have used probably two code readers, one of which was a Snap-On but neither of which read Ford specific DTC's.

Looking at the 2011 Focus wiring schematic it does not have a separate Yaw Rate sensor, and I would say that it is very likely that your 2011 S-Max also doesn't.

PS: It would be helpful to correct your profile since a Ford Model: Clement  is not listed 😉

Reason looking for sensor is because the obd diagnostics is showing a fault with yaw rate sensor. I have esp light on dashboard and no power steering (apparently all linked to yaw rate sensor)

Here's 2 diagrams for Mondeo, essentially (electrically) the same as S Max and Galaxy. First is 2007 on ABS diagram showing separate yaw sensor, second 2011 on ABS diagram showing no Yaw sensor

Please is there anyone out there with any information on the location of the yaw rate sensor of my 2011 ford s-max 2.0 tdci

I know this is late but... From my "official" Ford ETIS IDS:
• NOTE: Since September 16, 2010 the yaw rate sensor and accelerometer function is part of the restraints control module (RCM)

Restraints Control Module

Looks like it's under centre console?:
Remove the floor console (there are multiple options depending on EPB etc.

Sorry I can't be more specific and still no guarantees plus there are multiple safety warnings if it has to be discnnected:

• WARNINGS:

The supplemental restraint system (SRS) is active for a certain length of time after the power supply has been disconnected. Wait for a minimum of 3 minutes before disconnecting or removing any SRS components.

Make sure that the vehicle electrical system is fully depowered and no other power source is connected.

 Wear safety goggles.

Etc...
