Red light no longer flashing in centre of dash

I have had a 2013 ford fiesta zetec for 3 years and the red light to show the immobiliser is active has just stopped flashing in the centre of the two dials car starts no problem but was wondering why the light is not working can anyone help ?

    Could be symptomatic of a common instrument cluster fault in this age of car. There's a very reliable guy on this forum who can repair for not much money. I shall notify him by entering his name and he may be along soon to advise 😀...  @rd457

    Non-facelift Mk7 cluster is not affected by the cracked joints problem. Facelift Mk7 probably not either, but never had one to look at to be certain.

    I suppose it could be something as simple as the LED failing, I'm guessing they're not infallible?
