At the industrial museum where I volunteer, we have a 1989-ish (G-plate) Ford (Iveco) Cargo lorry which we use to collect exhibits / take things (historic gas and diesel engines, mostly) to shows etc.  The O/S headlight is broken, and we have struggled to find a replacement (at any price, at the moment, but a cheap one would be nice).  The internet suggests the rectangular light unit might be the same as on Cortina MK4, which seems at least possible.  I wonder if anyone with a Cortina Mk4 would measure the headlamp and post the result to this thread - on the car is fine at the moment, though a decent shot of where the main and pilot bulb are, taken through the front glass, might also help to confirm if we can go that way.

I have looked at a few on ebay, but I thought actual dimensions might be helpful.

Bum, a mistake already - it is the n/s headlight unit which we need.

These are still common and easy to find. Even brand new ones can be had for a few hundred pounds.
