Parking sensor works "inverted"

Featured Replies

Hello. After failing to Google myself to any answer im hoping this forum has some answers

We bought a second hand Galaxy with faulty parking sensor. We contacted a vehicle electrician who found a faulty wire and fixed the wire. The system now activates and beeps. But it beeps, inverted/reversed. So when it senses something at max range its a fast beep, and when the object closes in it beeps slower and slower. So when something is extremely close, its a causal beeping.

Previous owners replaced the stereo with a GAS touchscreen one. Could this be affecting the this? I found the sensor module, disconnected an reconnected but nothing helps.

The beeping is also in the front, isnt it supposed to have a rear sounding speaker for rear sensors?

Last point is that the front sensors dont make a beep. According to the technician, there is an error saying front parking speaker is off. Could this be affecting it to work in reverse?

Im hoping you guys have some insight.
