That's one massive amount of soot if it's clogged in 40km (only 24 miles) after a full off-car clean (almost unbelievable?)!

Lack of DPF pressure readings is confusing the whole issue and that would still be my first point to sort but you don't appear to want to go that way?

I can't make any more comment until you fit the new DPF, get a working pressure sensor (reset the parameters?) and see what happens to the pressure and regen after that.

There may still be other faults causing the clogging that may affect the new one ...

I will go that way.

First time it only lasted a hour or so. Most of it with out driving the car.
I could not wait 2 weeks for the new DPF to be delivered. And If possible to "blow out " the gunk before fitting a new one. Its well spent time.

They are not exactly free of charge:)

Only reason I have not changed the dp sensor yet, is because I believe it will go into limp mode because of dp being 0 with dpf filter being removed.

What is factory set boost pressure on these cars with 2.0 Tdci 140 hp?

I have a 2008 Smax, same engine as yours. I would buy a new pressure Sensor, put it in and save old one, close the EGR (engine off, battery on and then disconnect EGR plug or maybe you already use banking plate?) and give it a try. My engine has 211k km on the clock and I only drive it with EGR unplugged, it drives very well, light coming on but without limp mode and I know via forscan only every 1200km it starts the regeneration 🙂

wish you good luck to get intake exhaust and everything clean!

To be honest I have not been doing much with this, as the car has worked (with the engine light on), but no limp mode. And car has not been used much. New dp sensor, and new dpf are laying in the garage. Egr valve has blanking plate mounted.
WIll probably be mounted closer to summer :)
Car ran trough MOT with dpf with filter removed (only pipe left). Within emission requirements.

Thanks for coming back with this update BUT you say "Other/Non UK" as location so your "MOT" must be a lot different to mine (Where are you based?)
IF vehicle had DPF fitted from new, in UK it must be fitted, undamaged and working otherwise it would never pass our smoke test.
I don't know what's going on but as you haven't done anything towards getting the system working correctly at a basic level, I'm looking forward to the next exciting chapter!

I am wondering about the engine light.. no complains?

As mentioned, maybe in other tread, I did not see a solution in cleaning dpf and so, as everything was so full of muck
( I belive from defective egr over time from previous owner), so much so that it got clogged again after very short amount of time. Did that twice, or was it three times. Cant remember. But in the end I got fed up and removed the internals from the dpf. And drove with that. To let the engine have a possibility to get rid of the muck.

I am ofcourse 100% aware of this is not the correct route to go. But had to let it have a go.
It was that or to get rid of the car.
To old and expensive to mount a new dpf when I was 100% sure it would be clogged again in no time.
I belive the only reason the engine does not go to limp mode is because of the faulty dp sensor (that has a pretty even pressure reading, but sky high). But that makes the engine think the dpf is present, but in a bad state.

I live in Norway. It did pass the emission. If they had noticed the internals was not there, It would not have. as its said it has to be working on cars fitted with it.

If this was a daily driver, new parts would have been mounted long ago.

Well, before handing over the keys I cleared the DTC, no alarm.
It takes some driving (maybe around 50km, and x amount of times of turning ignition on before its back. (if you log on with forscan you see the dtc becoming active at some stage, and then the dtc is pending (belive that is when the count on ignition on/off starts), and when you reach x amounts of ignition on/off. The engine light comes on in dashboard.
