I have an old Mk 7.5 brochure. According to that, reverse camera was not standard even on Titanium X. It could be ordered as an option but only in conjunction with Sony audio and sat nav.

I have the titanium X model, which comes without the satellite navigation option, but it is factory-fitted with a camera.

Interesting. It's not 100% clear from the old brochure if you must have Sony and nav. (Could just be plain wrong of course, which is not unknown with Ford literature!😀) Presumably you have the Sony unit?

OPs car is a 2014, though, so it's quite possible the spec changed between then and 2016 anyway.

Yes, came with the Sony unit, I also added every optional extra except satnav,

So another update.  This happened today 🤣

IMG_0697.thumb.JPEG.29b599f29d9844eecf0f46706e3c345d.JPEG

I got the dynamic lines and all the buttons worked as well, so I could zoom, turn the hatches on/off and turn the dynamic lines on/off.

At least I know now that the car does have this feature, but the next question is how can I diagnose this fault?

@unofix I saw you posted the wiring schematics here a while back.  Do you mind uploading them again if you still have them please?

Thanks

Now that I have fixed the majority of issues I had I am revisiting this.

I have plugged in my scanner and cleared the DTC's and this code comes up straight away

===BCMii DTC B1088:88-0A===
Code: B1088 - LIN Bus 'B'

Additional Fault Symptom (:88):
 - Bus Off

Status (-0A):
 - DTC Present at Time of Request
 - Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

Module: Body Control Module

 Freeze Frame  #1:
-EVENT_TIME: 340028041 s (Sat Oct 04 18:27:52 2025) - Event time
-TOTAL_DISTANCE: 154039 km - Total Distance
-MODULE_VOLTAGE: 11.5 V - Control Module Voltage
-OUTDOOR_TEMPERATURE: 12 °C - Outside temperature
-PWR_MODE_KEY: Ignition On - Power Mode Key State
-PWR_MODE_QF: Power Mode OK - Power Mode Quality Factor
===END BCMii DTC B1088:88-0A===

After a day driving about another pops up

===FCDIM DTC B115E:31-28===
Code: B115E - Camera Module

Additional Fault Symptom (:31):
 - No Signal

Status (-28):
 - Previously Set DTC - Not Present at Time of Request
 - Malfunction Indicator Lamp is Off for this DTC

Module: Front Control/Display Interface Module

===END FCDIM DTC B115E:31-28===

Now looking into these, in the service manual for B1088:88 It says

B1088:88 LIN Bus "B": Bus off
REFER to: Parking Aid (413-13B Parking Aid - Vehicles With: Parking Aid Camera, Diagnosis and Testing).

Which refers to this

B1088:88 LIN Bus "B": Bus Off GO to Pinpoint Test F

And this is all the Pinpoint Test F stuff

All I can find for the wiring is the diagrams @unofix linked for me but this is for the 2016 model with autopark by the looks of it so am at a bit of a loss on what I need to be testing.

Another thing I have seen while I have been researching this is people are recalibrating it with Forscan with the Local Interconnect Network New Module Calibration under BdyCM

I think that's now BCMii but even under that I don't see any Local Interconnect Network New Module Calibration at all.

This is quite a big deal because If my camera is faulty and I buy I new one this apparently is how you get the new one working so if I can't find it I'm pretty much screwed when it comes to fixing it myself.

Does anyone have any ideas or can help me with anything at all that I have posted above?

Thanks

Sorry i forgot to look up the the B115E error and says to do this in the manual which seems similar to be the thing I was talking about that i couldn't find

PINPOINT TEST A

A2   PERFORM A NETWORK TEST

    Using a diagnostic scan tool, perform a network test.

Do all modules pass the network test?

Yes 	GO to A3
No
REFER to: Communications Network (418-00 Module Communications Network, Diagnosis and Testing).
