Cortina 3.0 V6 no spark and module wiring problems, help!

I am from South Africa and have a Crank and no start situation that I need help on...


I was given a job to solve a Crank and no spark situation 'about a week ago in a Cortina 3.0. I took the job
and the car had broken wires to the dizzy and corrosion:wacko:... l just solved the wiring problem today and 
cranked it and no spark came out. I found a Motocraft ignition module on the car but I am not sure if it matches the distributor. Basically, this job was abandoned by another mechanic and I have an onion to peel. Please gents.


I need your help on the following:


Does the distributor and module match each other?


Is my wiring schematic correct for this module?

I have posted pictures of the module, distributor and engine.
