Difference between B6 and B6 Plus gearbox

Featured Replies

Having seen a few worrying posts about B6 gearbox issues, I was sure I had seen some more reassuring info on this in another thread. Have now come across it again by accident while searching for something else (as is often the case) so just posting this in case anyone is searching for the same thing!

Thread is:

and the key info I was trying to find is as below, courtesy of @Tizer - thanks, John.

The B6 Plus is rated at 330Nm as per this Screenshot.

Both chocolate then! I'll continue to treat with care!

I haven't had any problems with my one in the last 6 years maybe because I know how to use my Gearbox as it was intended to be used.

Having been a passenger in other peoples cars I can understand why Gearboxes break.
