Tyre Slip

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

So i have recently had my lower suspension arms changed on both sides.

When turning right whether its full lock or half turn and in the wet or dry the nearside front tyre sounds like its slipping and causes a juddering noise in the car.

I have jacked the car up and there is no play in the wheel when testing at 9-3 and 12-6. That all appears to be solid.

Anybody got any suggestions as to why the "slippage" appears to be happening? Will my tracking be out.

If i turn left the driver side front wheel is fine.

Yes, get the tracking checked

Always get that done when suspension parts have been changed.

Thanks guys thought that might be the case

It’s not something wrong causing the ABS to kick in is it?

Either way you’ll need tracking doing after changing the arms so tick that box first

Hi Troy45 it does feel like something with the brakes. There is no resistance. There are no noises, rattles, grindings, etc its just turning and hearing/feeling the tyres slipping
