Drivers seat bottom cushion replacement

Morning

I have a MK3 focus zetec.

The drivers (rhd) seat bottom cushion has a tear on the wing part.

I can see you can buy second hand cushions on eBay.

Are this easy to change over?

For example does the whole seat have to come out?

    If it's the same as the fiesta then yes it can be removed without removing the seat but tricky.

    The cover comes off first by removing any plastic around the seat..screw at front and back on both sides

    Pump handle just pulls off and held on by plastic clip

    All other handles and wheels just pull off.

    Cover is clipped on front and sides plastic clip over trims

    Rear of cover clips underneath via elastic with metal clips

    Sponge may be stuck but repair without removing..just cut out and glue new bit in and trim

    Pump seat up fully..this does help

    Just take the seat out. Only 4 Torx bolts to remove and a single connector to disconnect.

    This will make the job so much easier.
