Ford Galaxy 2013 No bluetooth

Featured Replies

I have a 2013 Galaxy Titanium. The car has the radio with navigation and camera (type BM2T18K931AJ VAI60892). A few weeks ago, the bluetooth just stopped working. I have tried most things including a replacement radio unit. I have now found out that there is a separate bluetooth control module that is not part of the radio. Is this correct? Are these still available from Ford?

Yes, the Bluetooth module is separate for most Fords built around 2010.

The Bluetooth modules were common across different models so there are always plenty of cheap used ones available on eBay. Just have to make sure the part number matches your existing module as some only allow calls whereas others allow music as well.
