2011 Smax 2.2 losing power

Featured Replies

Hi, 2011 2.2 auto the car seems to lose power the warmer it gets to point where it feels like limp mode, no error codes or lights on dash.. any help much appreciated

Welcome!
My suggestion, (others will be available!), is to use Forscan, check codes (standard OBD readers can miss Ford specific codes) and look at all live data to see what changes as engine warms up?
What is history and service history, fuel filter etc, any air leaks in fuel system?

Had high pressure fuel pump changed last year along with fuel filter, I had forscan on while driving and shows boost, fuel etc running right but with no power

Why was it necessary to change the pump (usually due to a spring breaking or cam spalling, spreading glitter through the fuel system - Ouch!)?
When you say Forscan was on, was it checking demanded and actual rail pressures and what other parameters were monitored with results so someone else (as well as me) can give their opinions on where to look next?
Initially, your symptoms "running right, no power" may indicate lack of fuel or air but that's the best I can do based on current info and my limited knowledge at a vast distance!
I'd look at the fuel filter, as the cheapest way of ensuring it isn't involved and confirm (humour me) that there are no bubbles in the fuel line?
