Headlight fuse location

Featured Replies

Hello, I have a 2015 S Max, the drivers side headlight is not working, I've changed the bulb, still nothing.
I've looked in the owners manual, but cant find the headlight fuse. When i look online it says it's in the box under the dashboard.
But that box looks nothing like the one in my car, and there's no mention of headlight fuse in the owners manual
HELP, please

Just confirm the bulb you've bought isn't faulty first.

Fit the known working bulb in the driver's side and see what happens.

Do all the other lights in the light unit work?

I tried the bulb in the passenger side, it's working fine.
The indicator is working, but the dipped beam and Main beam are not

2015 is the crossover year between Mk1 & Mk2. Can you confirm which yours is?

Thanks for confirming. I've just double checked the fuse chart and these lights definitely aren't fused separately. They're protected by the BCM instead.

So that means there's either a fault within the light cluster, or there's a damaged wire between the cluster and the BCM.

The headlight plugs should be the same on both sides, so you can remove the full cluster and try plugging it in on the other side to test whether the fault is inside the cluster.

I just tried that, it looks like you found my problem.
i plugged the drivers side cluster in the passenger side, and no lights.
Looks like i need a new light cluster :(

Check for easy broken wires or dislodged pins from the connector port inside the light first, before you commit to a replacement lamp
