Need help fixing AC and locating climate control actuator

Featured Replies

Hello from Croatia,
I have been having issues with my AC, specifically the single-zone digital climate (will put picture). I know this might be the wrong place as I see this is primarily a UK based forum and my car is LHD, but I'm honestly running out of options and I need help. AFAIK, the unit on my car only came on Spain and Italy market Focuses (mine is an Italy import, so it adds up). When I use the buttons to change my temperature or airflow direction, I just hear a slight buzz from the little unlabeled black motor under the radio head unit (will try to put up a picture). I know that there should be 2 actuators, and I got to the one behind the glovebox labeled "1S7H-19B634-CA" (will also try to put a picture of it here), but I can't see where the second actuator that should be on the drivers side and how I should get to it. I haven't tested the actuator that I pulled out yet, but I am suspecting that they're faulty. Does anyone know how to access the second actuator without having to take the whole dashboard out (if possible), and what could the issue be with the buttons not changing anything? I am running out of options as I can't find anything about this AC unit online due to it being so rare and can't really find the parts if the actuators are the problem, that's why I'm asking you guys. Also, if anyone has the actuators for it and is willing to ship them to me, I'd be willing to arrange something. I was also at the Ford dealership in my city and they didn't have actuators (and didn't want to tell me part numbers, of course), they only offered selling me a whole new AC unit ford an outrageous price.
Thank you in advance!
