I have a 2018 Ford Focus, (2015 Manufacture) Titanium. 1.5 tdci

Has anyone got any recommendations for an upgrade for the radio, display etc., so many on the market, mainly Chinese, but I am looking for a decent one that someone may have already fitted, or is it a waste of time and money.

I have the latest software for the Sync 3 installed.

Your thoughts and ideas please.

    In my opinion SYNC 3 is far superior to 99.9% of the aftermarket Chinese Android audio systems.

    I used to have one of the better-quality Chinese Android audio systems in my previous Focus MK3. The system itself worked acceptably but most of the installed (vehicle specific) Apps were mediocre at best. I literally re-wrote most of these apps to get rid of the horrible Chinese/English translations and to improve the user interface.

    I now have a jailbroken SYNC 3 version in my current Kuga which works perfectly fine. I also retrofitted SYNC 3 to our Focus MK3 ST. Both vehicles support wired Android Auto/Apple Carplay and with a cheap dongle also wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay.


    I would never replace a SYNC 3 system for an aftermarket Chinese Android audio system.
