2007 Titanium 2.0L Duratec and EGR failures

Featured Replies

In the past 18 months I have changed the EGR valve 3 time, noticed that the spring tension in one was lighter then the other two. I am getting the P0400 DTC (Forscan) again, can anyone advise best way forward (in mean time using Catacleaner with some improvement). (I have already changed inlet maniford and PCV valve/hoses as well. The EGR valve have been the RIDEX version for Ford focus mk2 2007 2.0L Duratec automatic. (EN07BVZ 100,000miles)

Now It starts ok when cold, but once hot, it struggles to start. Once started the car drives fine like a dream
