Adding rev-match to a 2019 ST?

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,

I recently acquired a late 2019 ST. It was however not fitted with Performance pack (but, for some reason, has CCD). Using Forscan, I was able to activate Launch Control & the shift light, but I haven't heard of anyone managing to add rev-match.

Is this possible? Can someone with a PP mk. 4 ST share their as-built files?

Cheers,
Alex

While I’ve successfully enabled features like Launch Control and the shift light on my own project car using FORScan, rev-matching is fundamentally different because it requires deep integration between the Engine Control Module (ECM) and the transmission sensors to predict and execute the throttle blip.

I think the car already has the right sensors in the transmission: the « rev hold » my car does on upshifts can tell if I’m skipping a gear and adjusts revs accordingly.

You’re probably right on the ECU part though. Looks like nothing short of a tune will add the function.
