Hi all just asking if anyone can confirm the correct P/N for a replacement sump plug to keep in my bit box for future services . Incase of rounded off damaged threads etc. is it the same plug for the 2litre D I see these listed on eBay . Thanks

    My local Ford dealer gave me this P/N 1715336 not compared it the original but from memory from my last oil change looks very similar

    That one is for 2.0 TDCI.

    Not sure whether it's the same plug or not. 2.0 TDCI one includes a new copper washer. Whereas the 1.6 TDCI version comes without a washer (sold separately). Difficult to compare plugs without having both in hand.

    Interestingly the washers are different on both. 1714920 on 2.0 TDCI. 1145962 on 1.6 TDCI.

    Yeah visually look very similar. And makes sense no copper washer as it comes with a genuine oil filter. Next time I drop the oil I’ll compare both plugs and confirm if any difference . Thanks
