Drivers door collects water

When it has been raining and you open the drivers side door, water falls out at your feet. It's been in several times and they say they have cleaned the drain holes out, but seems as if although the well isn't wet, somehow water flows around the door seals and collects between the door and car. Is this normal ! or has anyone else have this problem.

Is this normal ! or has anyone else have this problem.

    My guess is that some of the protective gunk they squirt in during build is blocking a hole somewhere, or is just sitting in an unusual way that directs the water in another direction. I would not worry too much.

    How's the car otherwise?
