haha, like i said earlier, told dealers of spec i wanted. then they added city pack and 3rd rear hear restraint for free on top of my order :) good will geasture for being in the forces.

then when i went to pick the car up the manager came over to talk to me, said thank you for my job aswell, haha.

Just found this thread to see your 2012 dash pics Stewart - don't know how I missed it.

You car looks brilliant, inside and out! The leather seats look great too, and that darker dash is much better. Sometimes I think the pre-2012 standard two tone bluey/grey is starting to look a little dated.

My parking sensors were also colour coded!

Sorry, looks the same as mine really, all I can see if you ignore mine being blue inside, is the extra notch on the light switch and the centre rear head rest!

You also need to move them front mud flaps out, as they aren't helping your side at all!

Still, best colour, really the only colour, sorry but white titanium and zetec look odd, and a bit poverty (free paint!)

just im getting a fiesta on the 61 reg so was asking if it would be fitted to it

see you're getting standard zetec, in that case, the proper for ones will fit fine!

Whats different with the headliner?

I'm not really sure, looks a bit more like a flocked material from the photo.

It also looks like there aren't any reading lights, I only see the centre switch but not the buttons on either side. Is this an updated cabin light module?

Car looks really good mate. My diesel S is due to be delivered on 30th of September so I am hoping that I get the DAB radio.

I've ordered leather on mine and am glad to see yours has red stitching. I did some serious googling last night and found a light coloured car with leather and it had white stitching. Personally I prefer the red.

Thanks man :) yeh the red stitching looks much better than the blue in the s1600 and the white in the metal. Suits the car alot. I hope yours comes with the dab man. Let me know when you receive it.

For mark t, yeh there alot of white ones about, but I personaly think its the best colour, not really poverty when the cars £16000.just preferance really. I had the front flaps out a not further but they look rubbish, so moved them back in again. The sils have got clear vynil on them to prevent Stone chipping.

Collected my zetec s tdci in frozen white yesterday and it really is a sexy little car!

finaly got some picture updates, todays jobs were ambient lighting (to light for pictures) and wash, polish and wax.

also first pics with my climair wind deflectors fitted and focus colour coded washer jets.

what do you think?

Sweet ride mate. mines is exact same.but tdci so has the 16's on. Seriously.thinking about.buying those 17" alloys as i reckon they make it look much meatier.

Where did u get the clear viny fitted?

fitted the vynil myself, got it from a local vehicle wrapper. just offcuts he had lying about, got them for free. just to stop any stonechips hitting the sils

Were the brackets / holders for the ambient lighting easy to find / spot? I'm hoping that mine has them when it arrives. Its one of the silly things that I miss from the BM which was such a lovely place to sit at night. Do you have any pics of the ambient lighting on? Is it just a case of sourcing the bubs from flea bay?

The colour coded washers look better as well - did you paint, them or did they come painted from Ford>

ok well a non photo update (broke my htc phone)

they arrived with a seriously bad paint job and a small amount of damage.

spent my weekend in camp, so sanded them down, fixed damage, primered and colour coded them :)

just waiting on the final coat before i fit them.

ordering some black side stripes with next pay packet, when there fitted i will paint the brows black to match.

will get some pics up as soon as i have access to a camera

How do you fair legally with the Sticker front plate?

I would ditch my New font plate in a heartbeat if I knew I was legally allowed to!

ive driven 3000 miles with it. including going to cambridge for FITP and the scotish car show. no one has said a thing. Get loads of looks from people/ police but thats all.

i keep both my original plates in spare wheel well with screws and screwdriver so if i do get pulled and there funny about it i can fit original back on.

Adhesive plates are legal as long as they conform to Legal requirements as to layout and design and as long as they are clearly visible when viewed square on.

This info is directly from a Police Traffic Motorcycle Officer buddy of mine.

I defer to him when it comes to traffic things as he's the expert, i'm merely an amateur concerning traffic matters when compared to him.

Does the samco hose make any difference to how it sounds?

end of month (pay day) im buying bucket seats, harnesses, rear strut brace and a helmet hammock.

seen these seats but do they look genuine for the price? he has a few other sets of seats, so dont know if there imported reproductions..

what seats would you recomend? been looking for a pair of black seats but nothing i like is within distance to pick up

car is booked in for 7th september for roof and mirror wrap in blue.

have ordered another rear boot trim (black wrapped peice) so i can smooth the wiper hole of properly and get it wrapped black.

apart from that i keep finding myself looking at the fiesta R2 parts price lists haha, mabye get a couple of bits next month
