Looks like I'm running an involuntary experiment here.

Here's the situation.

Fuel to empty: 26 miles

Fuel required to get to work and back for the week: 36 miles

Money available to put towards petrol: £0 until 15th July (1 week today)

I've reset the trip, and will report back on Thursday

    I think there will be a built in safety margine.

    My last fill up was done on 23rd July and it clicked off at £57 and some pence so I rounded it off to £58 and filled up by 43 litres.

    What is the official tank capacity - I thought it was 42L?

    It is :lol: you must have been so low that you were filling the pipework up too.
