It may be a good idea to fit a resistor inline to stop this.

i was thinking a resistor too. but at first i was unsure due to the way the switch affected it. if that were the problem wouldnt it be on with switch off too? or is the switch tecnically closed when in middle and only open when properly off?

Those led bulbs you got i had be carefull they over heat badly if on for any length of time youll smell the circuits burning oh and they dont refund after 7 days which is convenient as mibe didnt last 2weeks

for £2 i dont think id bother sending them back to china! lol

i dont really sit in my car so they not on long. if im actually looking arond ill probs use the white map lights anyway

..guess il use them till i kill them then get something better :) ..hopefully theyre so weak theyll die for such a minor fault it wont affect anything else! lol

I only say as on mine theyvwere so hot they almost melted the plastic i could actually smell them i used the led pad after that then went back to normal my led door handles and front and rear footwell lights light it up more than enough
