Intermittent Squeak Front Right Brake Area

Featured Replies

My thoughts stick caliper pads looked ok 2 week ago and disc gets holy shizzle hot mainly squeaks when turning left ? and after braking for lights and traffic then a couple seconds and gone again or am i barking up the wrong tree advice please even sarky answers accepted .......Or maybe even a wheel bearing but the rear made a completely different noise and that has been replaced already and is fine..

It does sound like a sticking caliper which btw can lead to bearing failure - due to the heat generated.

Best thing to do is jack the car up and see if the wheel spins freely
