yunii
Actually the sound more crispy & clearer then stock ones. Did the tweeters last week & finished component speakers today. Their is no crackles or ditortion. Although havent tried out with loud sound. Will do on open road so dont distract neighbourhood..pics to follow. Yunii If you set the: Treble +5 Bass to +2 Fader R2 You will get much better output at high levels on the factory headunits. the Speakers you fitted can exceed the volume of headunits amplifier without distortion, but you will still hear distortion when the headunit is at maximum output Level 30, This isint the Speakers losing response it's the amplifier losing it. Only way to overcome that is with use of aftermarket items but in everyday use level 10-15 is sufficient 👌 I currently have bass +3, mid bass +4 & treble +6. tazzman600
Blimey yuni. Those settings are rather extreme. Have you tried running g the Speakers flat? To me if you feel the need to have bass at +3 etc the Speakers are not very good.

tazzman600
Oh. Then I'd set the tone controls to flat before your new tweeters make your ears bleed.

yunii
Next step once it all arrives to fit. Then red stitched leather gear gaitor, also would like to wrap armrest in red stitched leather but need foam to give it soft padding. Then i may do my door cards in red stitched leather.( currently in black leather with black stitch , which were taken off & fitted to my stock ones when leather interior was fitted. JC600
Should look really good when fitted, be careful when re-covering the arm rest. It's a very tedious job, it's all plastic welded. I used a hot glue gun when I put mine back together. And spray adhesive on back of the leather. :)
yunii
I have plastic welded many times but i am not removing complete but just the top bit .by looking at the rs one it just clips in on top. b4zz
once them parts are fitted it is going to look good and like the sound of the red stitched leather
yunii
once them parts are fitted it is going to look good and like the sound of the red stitched leather. I deffo will do the gearstick gaitor & armrest cover. But may not bother with doorcards. Please bear in mind all these pieces need to be glued to existing ones. On the armrest i will use foam for soft padding . Yunii Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
