Newbie Here - Need Help

Featured Replies

Hi,

I bought a Ford Fiesta MK4 a few months ago and I have an issue that I was hoping someone could help with.
I have an issue with the lock that I cant figure out.

Basically The main key I get with the car was broken and the spare will unlock the boot and start the engine but it wont open either the drivers side or the passenger side door.

I am completely usless with cars and I want to start doing things myself to help get the car working fully.

Could any one advice on what they think I can do to get this resolved. I dont have much money so the more cost effective the better.

Thank you all.

Sounds like either the door locks or the ignition/boot lock barrels have been swapped or have worn unevenly.

I think a visit to an auto locksmith may be the best option.
