Hi ive just bought a 02 focus dont know what mk it is though it has 70000 miles on it and previous owner made it a st lookalike.

    Sounds like its a MK 1.5.althought its an ST replica... What is the original model? is it a Zetec / S ?

    It says on logbook its a cl but it has a zetec engine in it.

    how much did you buy it for? and do you have a full list of all the modifications done? if not, I suggest you contact the former keeper and ask them to disclose as much as they know.

    The reason is, if there is a modification on there you did not know about, and you do not disclose it to the insurer, they MAY if required cancel your policy and null and void your insurance. That will leave you temporarily footing the bill whilst you argue the case with the insurer, and perhaps the ombudsman, but it still shows up as a black mark as you must then always declare you have had insurance cancelled by the insurer.

    It may sound scary, but its more a case of get as much as you can to prevent that ever happening :)

    i payed £1000 for it.the only mods it has are coilovers alloys headlight conversion to angel eyes and a hid kit .
