OK,it’s for my other half really, but I’m not too proud to admit it puts a smileon my face driving it around with the roof down, especially now we’ve got somesun, regardless of how much it’s supposed to be a girlie car. It’ll also be methat’s responsible for maintaining it – so it’ll be my car if it’s not workingproperly! It’s my fourth Ford; 20-odd years ago I had a couple of MK3 Escort1.6 Ghias, and I also ran a 2002 Focus Estate for a bit. As well as theStreetka my current fleet includes a Citroen Xsara Picasso (for moving thekids), a 1966 Series 2 Land Rover (that’s my toy really – I spend more timemaking it work than I do driving it!) and a 1978 VW Camper. I also had a relationship with the Blue Oval having spent 10years volunteering as part of a race rescue team sponsored by Mountune. Goodtimes!
