Hello everyone just joined owners club, have recently bought new zetec s fiesta colour race red.

Having just sold my diesel zetec s which averaged 50 plus to the gallon at the moment I am getting only 42 to the gallon not yet done 1000 miles so have to be patient as Ford say you need to run a 1000 miles before improvement.

I often wonder what Trading Standards make of car manufacturers fuel economy claims any comments thanks.

    Welcome i had a tdci before and now own a ZS. if you took the cruise control use it. it makes a hell of a difference. I mostly do motorways. i can go by back roads too work... (10km less than buy motorway). The fuel consumption was cut in half with using cruise control on motorway. ( 60km to go and 60 back). Im at 1000 km
