StuartC88
I tried this yestetday. When I went to put the grommet in tho if I put it against the bodywork theres a gap between there and the glass. if I put it against the glass theres a gap between bodywork and grommet. pudrwc
I removed my rear wiper on my Fiesta mk6, and once i finished there was a hole where the wiper should have been, you need to get a 'blanking plug' or something like that to block the hole. If this is what your on about anyway lol.

StuartC88
did u take the rubber bit that was in the hole originally out or leave it in? when I put my rubber grommet over the hole it leaves a gap at the top between the grommet and the bottom of the window
AdamC11
I bought the grommets from Halfords. Mine fits flush. I removed the rubber inner where the wiper was. The inner grommet is 19mm and the outer grommet is 24mm. I have poured water over the windscreen and no water has seeped through. Plus it can be pulled out very easily :\
AdamC11
Thats fine mate. Mine looks the same currently. As long as water doesnt leak in, its fine. Its the risk you take with any rubber gromet, mines been on nearly a week and nobody has touched it. :-)
