The firmware version of your radio is 04-05-02. This firmware version belongs to a GEN 2 Sony radio.

This basically means that the radio you installed is not compatible with the Bluetooth/Voicecontrol system of the car. To make it work you either have to replace the radio by a GEN 3 Sony radio or to replace the Bluetooth/Voicecontrol module by a 1st generation module and some modifications to the wiring.

Hi, what BT module i need to connect to my car where the player is 7M5T-18C939-AE. I specified the wiring instalation is original,without modification.

PS-or works if i buy a sony player with oval facia and replace this with a square facia???

    The 1st x stands for the language of the module (A = English). The 2nd x stands for the revision of the module and can basicaly be every letter. These 1st generation modules only support Bluetooth phone functionality and can not be updated.

    Be aware that this type of module can only be configured by a Ford dealer. Very few Ford dealers have the knowledge to do this on a car that did not have the system factory fitted.
