I think it looks nice but am worried Ford could be getting into the "Audi Russian Doll" syndrome where you have trouble telling them apart except for there size.

I wanted a golf, couldn't afford one I have thought the exact thing about ford and vw. Since the mk2 became the most sold car in its class vw took alot of fords ingredients and ford took some of vw's. Vw golf's have become wide like a focus! And the new focus have become smaller space wise inside like older golfs

You see, as others have said, it looks more mondeo, and for that reason, I am glad I am getting a mondeo, otherwise, as you say, if it looks like something, why buy the lookalike?

I agree the Mondeo looks better in the new guise, They need to go back to the original edgy styling like the Mk1 Focus which was brilliant, there getting to corporate.

The problem is that they are all trying to compete with the likes of BMW! so they now have to take the edge that gives you a high quality motor for a Ford price....

I much prefer the interior of this than all other previous models and the fact you can get one with a good ecoboost engine!

I just don't like the look of it from the outside, I much prefer the look of the Mk2 RS...

But that's just me!

Oh and I like the wheels.

I think there is good and bad in all models, my only one is a mk3 1.6tdci tit, but being honest the mk3.5 is a quantum leap

on mine, mk3 is defo cluttered layout, mk3.5 shape will grow on me....

Sadly, I dont think I would be able to partake, but it looks like a very good afternoon out!

New York Auto Show 2014 has brought new face Focus photos to light...

The white version shows off the new lines a little better:

And the Electric focus has been face lifted too: (EDIT: The electric version has had a new grille and lower grille added, but its not been fully face-lifted - hence still having the older style head lights)

Again the Electic model's interior hasn't fully been refreshed either - its has the newer centre, but still has the older steering wheel - (according to these pics anyway).

And the trio shot (Red = electric / White = standard hatch / Blue = standard saloon (not available here :( ) :

You can see how much sharper the fully facelifted focus' (white & blue) look compared to their predecessor's face (the red one)

Looking forward to getting the chance to see one in the metal as it is hard to really judge in pics. Still not a fan, too american looking, but I think the zetec s should look pretty good though, a proper ST-lite.
