Changing Footwell Lights On Mk7.5

Featured Replies

James/Paul, both gentleman.. Thank you so much!

While I was there I found out why my boot light didn't work.. It was used in the showroom, and they remove the boot light because the boots always open!

Yep I used to work at a dealership for 6 month. If we don't take the bulb out when the boots are open, then customers would come to test drive a car and wonder why its flat :lol: Although the idea is that you put the bulb back in...

Got any pics of yours yet? Got 2 of my footwell lights working without burning out, and got a refund from ebay so may try amazon now for some!

No probs James, yeah check out the photos below:

They really do look great during the day, but particularly at night..

No more yellow, just pure white :)

I like the effect they have on the edges of your mats - may look for some mats like that!

Least they're looking good - doing the map lights too? (Wish i had the ambient lighting in the middle area/cup holders :()

Anybody else recommend any bulbs on ebay/etc that they have bought (white preferably) and have a working link?

Hey James, Yeah the mats are specific for the Fiesta (i.e. they slot onto the fittings driver side..)

Bought them for about £15 on ebay.. They did all sorts of coloured edges.. Well worth the money!

Recommend the bulbs also - Here's the link for my bulbs..

But aren't they worth the wait ;)

I know that this is an old topic but which ones were these as the finish is fantastic.
