Yeah they are. I know a ford breaker and he gives me first dibs on most things but he's only got 3 door skirts. He's not came across any 5 door ones. He offered me a full fabric recaro set the other day for £240!!!

I would love side skirts but they are robbery. Like I said, I'll stick the flaps on and see how it stands. I think it'll look OK to be honest.

Good price for the seats, have seen them cheaper but there always really worn. I wouldn't mind the grey ones.

I think it will look good as it's a dark colour. :)

I've seen them but can't justify £200 plus the cost of spraying them and fitting them if my car doesn't need them to finish the look. Guess we will see.

Nice looking motor there and liking what you got planned next. Mine has similar wheels as yours with the tinted rear windows. Car is in Panther Black.

Looking forward to seeing how your wheels turn out with the Dark Gunmetal grey as thats what I wanted to do since mine have a lot of curb rash and need a refurb.

I can remember browsing through some snaps of your car Hassen. Great looking car!

I think I'm going to do the wheels myself. Want to have a play plus it keep the price down immensely. The old man has got some experience in the field so that'll help. He wants me to do the wheels next rather than the bodykit because he thinks it will have a bigger effect. What you guys think?

Cheers man. I try to keep it tidy.

With regards to the wheels, I agree. It would make the most drastic change. I always tend to think that non-car people miss out on subtle details like bodykits. E.g my wife isn't a car person and she would't know the difference between a Zetec S and a Style. But, the first thing she always sees are wheels.

How are you planning to get the colour changed? I toyed the idea myself of getting it Plasti Dipped. It worked out to be too expensive in the end for what was a non permanent solution.

I prefer subtle mods though or tasteful as I prefer to call them. The wheels won't take a weekend and whilst I've got some spare coppers, I need my kit and exhaust on.

I am looking at sanding the wheels down and taking the top layer off to get them smooth to remove the imperfections. Once this has been done I will just respray if I don't take too much off and then lacquer up. I've got a spray gun so will sort it that way. What you think?

I think if you got the parts for the kit, go for it as it does make the car stand out from my personal point of view. I always look twice a the Zetec S bodykits as they are a bit rarer and do add that little bit of excitement to the car. Plus, as it stands, your wheels are already not the standard ones like on most Foci. Reckon once the kit is on, with the exhaust, it will look very slick.

It is true. I don't see too many of them, especially with Ford Privacy Glass and in sea grey. I would love the side skirts but they are on the nice to haves at the moment. Rally flaps should give the lower look. Hyrules thread doesn't have side skirts and I like the stance.. Whats your view?

I think you could leave the side skirts out, wait till one pops up on Ebay/breakers and then decide if you really want it. Just with the front and rear bumpers, the car will look a lot better. The mudflaps do look nice and does protect the paint as well. I also like the idea of having the front grill painted gloss black. Adds a bit of flair to the front end.

I am going gloss I think .. I've got an ST upper grill, zetec s lower grill and the fogs to do which I'll do myself. Saves some dollar. Sounds like a plan to me regarding the side skirts. Can't decide on them yet.

Also, if you can have a look at another car with the side skirts, that might help you make up your mind. Keep an eye out on breakers as you never know what might come in if you are not in a hurry for the part :)

I've seen the without and with and can't make up my mind exactly. It's a nice to have at the moment and I think if something comes up at the right price at the right time i might invest.

Good call. That's how I got most of my stereo equipment. I just waited as I was in no rush.

Mine has no skirts ( well not yet lol)

But wouldnt mine some. I guess it would be new only for me.

not sure I might look into the zs front and rear diffusers at some point but happy with how it looks at the minute

Fpr myself, if I were to get the front and rear diffusers, I wouldn't bother with the skirts unless they came up real cheap from a breakers.

Car looking good there Yuni.

Complements to jbeer for successfully implementing DDS, ECO mode, anti hijack and additional radio functionality.. Somehow I think I got the better end of a trade but hats off and beers owed!!

Not updated here in a while. I have purchased myself some zetec s side skirts and a twin pipe exhaust that will hopefully be going on soon. Today I got the motor back after finally having my Zetec S kit on. Attached are some snaps. Hope you all like it :)

That looks awesome in that colour. I reckon your car is one of the rarer ones now in Seagrey with the Zs bodykit :)

Cheers buddy I am really pleased with the car. Just keep giving the car the attention it deserves at the moment, love it! It is true about the sea greys. That why I can't wait to get the side skirts on and get it looking right for ford fair.

You got any plans to add tips to the exhaust as that would set off the rear nicely I think :)

Yes I've got a twin pipe to go on. Just cutting from the rear past the silencer and changing into two long life stainless steel dual tips. Should be straight forward enough ;)

Wicked! That will look sweet once done. You got an aftermarket airfilter on it already? Paired with the exhaust, it will sound real nice :)
